   I have read several works simular to the “how doctors die” that follow that exact same line of thought. I really think that people that are faced with death & dying are not in to correct mind to realize the enormous futility that comes into play, as well as the unneeded expense, of prolonging what cannot be escaped. Like someone said, “enjoy life, because nobody gets out alive”. And many times what is done to “save” a life leaves nothing of a semblance of a livable life.
